Cricket, Rugby and NH racing take place in Worcester several times during the year, as do music festivals at Malvern which is a Spa town. One can walk the Malvern hills with Hereford and Wales on the other side of the hills.
Cheltenham has a reputation as a shopping centre but do not forget it is a beautiful Spa town and also hosts the world famous National Hunt festival and Gold cup.
Stratford-on-Avon does not need publicity as the Shakespeare Theatre speaks for itself but is also one of the most pleasant towns in Britain to walk around with plenty for everyone to find interesting. You can even take a rowing boat up the Avon right past the theatre.
The Cotswolds’ starting at Broadway, which is 11 miles from the hotel, which will need time to explore as there are so many beautiful villages tucked away down winding roads. With several stately homes alongside places of interest, both historically and geographically to visit. The gardens will not disappoint as Hidcote Gardens are only twenty miles from here.
